I am Joanna Hudson, creative researcher - notable for researching the story of George Brewster, an 11 year old boy whose death in a chimney in Cambridgeshire in 1875, was the catalyst for change in the child labour laws that changed the lives of children across Britain.
George's story was mostly unknown and the research was used to apply for a blue plaque on the building in Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire where George died. The plaque is just the first step in a bigger plan to make George's name and legacy known to all children across Britain.
